Book Four Recording Begins!

Hiya,

I know it's been a long time in coming, but I'm glad to announce that I've finally managed to start work on recording Book4!

I think it must be something to do with the weather, because looking back at my Facebook posts, I started recording exactly a year after I started on Book 3 - spooky eh?

I've set up some progress charts on the Book IV page, so you can keep up with the news, and I'll also keep you posted on the Heavenfield Facebook page.

I'm very excited to be starting recording again - I hope you are too!

And thanks so much for your patience! It's been a long time getting to this point, but I think it will be worth it! :)

The Heavenfield WIKI

Hiya,

I've just set up a WIKI for the Heavenfield.

A what?!!

Wikis are great areas where anyone with an interest can provide their own information, opinion, theories or help on a chosen subject. I hope that the Heavenfield wiki can become a great repository for information and ideas on the story, and I'm really looking forward to hearing people's different takes on the narrative and surrounding story world.

If you've never posted or edited a wiki before, then please, don't be shy - the more input from you, the better and more useful the wiki will be.

And don't worry, you won't break anything!! ; )

The Heavenfield is out in Paperback!

Phew! I know have a HUGE pile of Heavenfield paperbacks and an ENORMOUS roll of bubblewrap!

A Thankyou

Hiya,

Tomorrow is the official release day for the Heavenfield in paperback, and for me is a culmination of over ten years of work and obsession.

I just wanted to take a moment to thank utterly and humbly all the friends and loved ones who have supported me, and gone out of their way to help this crazy, selfish, and babbling person who could never shut up about the fantasy world he inhabited.

Some of those friends are no longer with me, and I miss them terribly, and that is a cause for some sadness when I think back over this particular creative 'lifetime'.

But I hope you will permit me this moment to think on them and be truly grateful.

Book Three - Launch party for Podiobooks!

Hiya,

Many of you will be familiar with the excellent Podiobooks website, which provides FREE audiobooks from hundreds of different authors. Book Three of The Heavenfield will launch on the 8th of August, and it'd be great if you could support us by visiting and/or telling all your friends/family/workmates/pets/etc. :)

Evo from Podiobooks has set up a Facebook Event for the launch, so please attend (in spirit) the launch party! I'm always about on Facebook, so I'd love it if you could 'like' my page and join in the conversation!

In other news - I'm just gearing up to do some test recordings for Book Four. I'm hoping that I can start recording soon - I'll let you know how it progresses...

I've also been badgering Literary Agents again in an attempt to get the book published - no joy yet, but keep your fingers crossed for me...

Book Three - First Episode Out Now!

Well, it's been a busy few weeks, but I'm delighted to announce that the first episode of Book 3 is now available.

There are seven episodes to Book III, and they will be released weekly (you can see a countdown on the homepage).

If you haven't already caught up with the story - why not?! ;-) - you can read the 'previously' text on the Book III page.

I do hope you enjoy the third part of the Heavenfield novel, and thank you all for your patience in waiting so long for it's release!

Book Three - The Countdown Begins!

Well, I've finally gone and set a date for the release of Book III !

It's the 18th March, so it should give you enough time to catch up on the previous episodes, and hopefully give me enough time to mix everything!

I've put a countdown widget on the website, which I think you can put on your desktop if you fancy, and I'll update the progress bars on the website as I go, so you can keep up-to-date with how the editing is coming on Here.

I've really enjoyed the final few recording sessions - they've had some of my favourite parts of the story in them. I hope you enjoy it too!
